Miniature Bulldog Controversy or Confusion!

There has been some confusion or controversy lately about the miniature bulldog. So I want to clarify this alittle. There seems to be some more breeders starting up with the miniature bulldogs. I have been raisng mine for a long time now and created my line of miniature bulldogs with the health of my puppies first and there attitude and personality second and last comes the bulldog looks. My miniature bulldogs are just that they are small bulldogs recreated to look like the true toy bulldogs back from the 1800's . We wanted the more active style able to keep up with the children , go for long walks and be part of an active lifestyle. They are still laid back and ready to lie on the couch in the evenings or just be by you what ever you are doing. Some of these will have more wrinkles than others and some will take more after the modern day bulldog , only they still don't have all of the modern day health problems. They all usually snore but they should have less breathing problems and they should have a longer lifespan.( There are some out there now that are breeding full akc registered bulldogs calling them miniature bulldogs. These dogs will have all of the health problems associated with the english bulldog breed. They will also possibly get well over the 40 lb standard for the miniature bulldog. However they will look exactly like the modern english bulldog as that is what you are buying so there size cannot be predicted. If you are wanting a Akc bulldog then we suggest you get one from one of these other breeders as our miniature bulldogs are not AKC !) We strive to have healthy happy puppies that will fit into the size regulations of many of the apartment and town homes. We also don't want you to get attached to your puppy only to find out it has grown over the weigh limitations of your lease, or a major health problem and is going to be a very expensive companion for you , we want it to be part of your family for a long time to come and able to remain with you and be healthy for most of its life. This is our main goal in breeding our miniature bulldogs. If this is what you are looking for then we suggest you get your name on our list of prospective owners of one of our babies and send us your deposit. Our puppies generally run from $1200.00 to 2000.00. They come up to date on shots, they come with full registration privledges into the American Canine Association. Below are some of our bulldogs the modern style and our active style. We have both available depending on what you are looking for. In the one picture we have a full size Standard female next to one of our modern style miniatures. Below them are a few of our older more athletic miniature bulldogs. They are all just as loveable only some are able to keep up with active families better than the others . We try to match our puppies with the lifestyles that there new owners have so that they will be happy and a part of the family as that is what we are breeding our babies for.
